Realign your dome

A misaligned dome allows heat to escape. Use, movement, or even the wind can shift it slightly. Tools: 3/8" ratchet, 13 mm and 11 mm wrenches.

1. Free the dome. Remove the springs, close the dome, then remove the side brackets: it will then be able to move in all directions.

2. Reposition it, with the holes aligned. Tighten the brackets, reopen it, and replace the springs.

3. Check. Close it and look for any gaps. Repeat if necessary. The rear nuts must be tightened securely.

4. Regularly check that the bolts are tight.
